Summer School: How to present your scientific work to (non)academic public?
The summer school is for students and young researchers with an interest in presentation skills.
Two-days English Summer School on presentation skills, September 19-20, 2022
Research results are great but what is the use of them if only a few people in the world learn about them? In the era of fake news and conspiracy theories there has never been a time in history when science communication to the public was more necessary or urgent.
The workshop is about “how”:
How to communicate your work to the public?
How to present during academic conference? And on TED?
How to write about your research so that non-scientists can understand it and be interested in it?
How to write a press release?
How to write a scientific blog?
How to write drafts of short texts (such as blog posts, tweets, and similar items) for non-scientific audiences?
Who can apply?
PhD students and/or Early Career Researchers (less than 5 year after PhD)
For 12 PhD students and/or Early Career Researchers cost of participation (travel and accommodation) fully covered by Poznan University of Economics and Business
