Academic writing workshop
- Applications are invited for a two-day English language academic article writing workshop in Poznan University of Economics and Business on Monday May 23 and Tuesday May 24 2022 prior to the Family, Work and Social Policy conference.
- Cost of participation (travel and accommodation) are available for 12 PhD students and/or Early Career Researchers.
- On day one, the workshop will cover the foundations of English language academic writing, including some practical exercises. It will also discuss hints and tips as to how to increase your chances of impressing journal editors and getting your article published.
- On day two, you will have the opportunity to further develop a short piece of writing towards publication (maximum 6,000 words and to be submitted in advance of the workshop) with the input of your peers and the workshop organisers, Professor Shirley Gatenio Gabel, Fordham University and Professor Alison Koslowski, University College London.
The participants of the workshop are also invited to participate in the International Conference “FAMILY WORK AND SOCIAL POLICY” Poznań May 26-28, 2022, the cost of fee and accomodation to be covered by the organizers.
